Coach Salsa was born and raised in Luanda, Angola and played soccer since the time he could walk. In 2001, Salsa moved to Rhode Island, USA due to a civil war and continued to play for Jenks MS, Attleboro HS and later at the Community College of Rhode Island.

Coach Salsa continued his soccer career by playing and graduating from NC Wesleyan College. He’s also played in Iceland and UPSL. Honoring his commitment and passion for the game, he became a coach for the U14 TRYSA Boys Team for 2 years. After moving to Raleigh, NC, Coach Salsa became the Assistant Coach for Wake Tech CC for the 2019/2020 season.

He is now currently the Assistant Coach for DII Shaw University Men’s & Women’s Soccer Team and also coaches for North Carolina Football Club Youth.

Lastly, Coach Salsa is the Owner and Lead Coach of Salsa’s11 Private Soccer Training where he continues to train hundreds of players from the youth, academy, collegiate and pro levels.
